Day 6-13

Wow! It's been a few days since I updated my 365! I don't have a fun life anymore so I am too busy to do this! lol I have been taking my photos, I just upload and edit in bulk. Here they are.

New Beginnings and Changes

2010 is starting off with a bang!  I start classes tomorrow night.  Yes, they are at night this semester and I am not happy about that, but the plus side is that I was given an amazing opportunity to work full time as a substitute at Lexington Middle.

Beginning on Friday, I will be subbing for a teacher who is leaving on maternity leave and will be gone for about 8-10 weeks or so.  She should be coming back around the beginning of March.  This is a good thing you see because that gives me about 2-3 weeks to catch up on serious school work and prepare for the next assignment.  Another teacher leaves at the beginning or April or a little before for her maternity leave and I will be in her classroom until the end of the school term.

I am really excited about this opportunity, but I am scared to death and I am most worried that my school work will suffer.  Noel has lectured me on how I am going to have to work harder, which he has no business doing -- he is the king of procrastination, but he is right.  And I HATE when he is right...lol  Working in these positions will give me a little something extra on my resume when it comes to working in the system after graduation.  I am really hopeful that it leads to great job opportunities.    Wish me luck!

Lastly, I am becoming the vice president of KDE.  That's Kappa Delta Epsilon.  It is a national honor society fraternity for education majors.  This is also a neat opportunity and it too will allow me to have that little something extra on my resume.  Hopefully it won't be too demanding.

Day 4 & 5 of 365

So I am a day or two behind.  Big deal.  :-)

On the 4th I forgot to take a picture, so that night Noel came in to give me a kiss and I decided that it was the perfect picture for the day.  It was a sweet, un-prompted gesture and I needed it.

 Yesterday, the 5th, was my first day of practicum for the new (and final) semester for classes.  I was going to take my camera with me and take photos of something while I was out but I forgot it that morning becasue I was in a hurry.  So, last night after we ate dinner (the lasagna) and watched The Hangover (funniest movie EVER), I took a picture of our dinner before I put it away.  It was so yummy and was the beginning to a great night!

I think I am able to have an RSS feed on my Facebook of my blog!  Sweet  Keep your fingers crossed this works.  Now when I update it, and update my photography, it will show up there too!  :-)

Scrap Happy!!

I have totally enjoyed having off this holiday vacation.  I did a lot of scrapping and I am quite happy!  I have been in the mood for it a great deal lately.  I have so many projects going on though, I need to pick one and get it done.  Here are some pages I have scrapped recently.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Day 3 of 365

So day three I took a picture of Noel's NFL Football.  It is of significance because today was the last day of regular season football.  The Buccs went 3-14, and the Saints went 14-3.  The Saints won the right to a bye-week in the first round of the playoffs and they have home field advantage for their first game.  Good Luck Saints!!  Lets finally win this thing!

Day 2 of 365!

Here is the photo from day two.  I promise they will get more exciting.  This is just waht has consumed me lately!  I am trying to "deep clean" my house!  hehe

Project 365!

I have decided to try this once again.  It is tough to remember to take my camera with me everywhere I go, so I am going to really try and stick to it.  Hopefully it will just become second nature to me.  I can't wait to see the end result at the end of the year.
