Learning Photoshop & a Freebie!

I have been on a painful journey to learn photo shop. There is sooo much that it can do, it is sometimes overwhelming. However I know this will help me with many things because I do photography too. I can use it on photos which is great! Anyway, yesterday I learned how to make a realistic water puddle and I thought i would share it! It is a .psd file extension.

Well, its going to be a busy day and I have lots to do. I just booked two photography jobs yesterday an I have to get busy with some planning. I also need to clean house. lol

A few pages as of late.

I have worked on a few more pages this week. I am sooo addicted. lol Anywho, here is one.

Christmas is FINALLY over!!!

Well here I am back from Jupiter, FL. We had a nice vacation to Noels dad's house. We celebrated Christmas with him and got some good stuff. Noel got a nice dress shirt for work and a very nice leather jacket. I am not sure where he is going to wear it to, we live in FLORIDA!! lol I got a very cool and really cute bathroom set from Bath & Body Works. Its a claw tub shaped glass bowl with some very nice smelling bath soap. I LOVED it! I also got two pairs of 10k white gold earrings. They are really pretty. This was our 8th and FINAL Christmas celebration of the year. I am glad its finally over.

I have lots of homework for school due and I want to make a scrapbook page. I haven't done one in about a week or so. I will post it when I am complete it! Have a great week at work or school!

Weekend at Last!!!

So the weekend is finally here! I am so happy. After being out of school and work for three weeks, this week was tough to get back in to. My routine was very out of sync.

My husband and I are taking a road trip this weekend. We are going to Jupiter, FL to visit his father. His brother and his girlfriend will be there too. It should be interesting. His dad is a very nice guy but wasn't really involved in their lives growing up so its just weird being there. And Jupiter is a VERY dead city. Certainly its for the retirees who move down to Florida in the winter months.

I have not scrapped one page this week. Getting back into school is difficult. It keeps me super busy. Not to mention last night the major TV networks decided to show all of their new episodes again so I was in TV heaven last night. However, I think this was the last episode of Grey's Anatomy for the season. I read they only had one episode left and that had to have been it last night. CSI and Without A Trace was also new and I thought they were done already too. Oh well, it was a GREAT surprise!

European Vacation Layouts

These layouts are so exciting for me. I took an amazing trip to Europe (see my "European Vacation" blog for more details) and I am finally getting around to making a scrapbook with my pictures. This is so exciting. I took over 2000 pictures while I was there and it is daunting but so much fun looking at all of my pictures. I am having a blast. Enjoy them all!!!

My very first post!

So I have a new hobby. It is an outlet from daily life and goings-on. I am addicted to digital scrapbooking! My mom raved about it for a couple of months and I thought she was crazy! I thought to myself, "how could THAT be more fun that doing it manually"? Well I should have known that my being addicted to my computer and taking digital photographs that I would love this SO MUCH more! I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. My husband on the other hand is probably thinking differently. I do nothing but this lately. With school starting back tomorrow though, I will be busy with school work mostly. I will soon post a few of my layouts to share.
